Working in a tight basement bay
Most battery changes in Dubai towers happen in a basement bay with a pillar on one side and a car on the other. Our technicians carry portable testers, jump packs and the battery itself, so nothing needs to move. If the bonnet can open, we can usually do the job where the car stands.

How long it takes
Most of the time goes on testing and confirming the right battery. Once the battery is confirmed, the swap is quick on cars with the battery under the bonnet. It takes longer where the battery sits in the boot, under a seat or under the floor, as it does on many European cars.
If the test shows the battery is healthy but flat, a jump start may be all you need, and we tell you so.
What happens to the old battery
We take the old battery away with us for recycling, so you aren't left with it in the car park or the garage. If you want to keep it, tell the technician before the job.
Battery change at home: questions
Can you change my car battery at home without me taking the car anywhere?
Yes. We come to your villa or building, test the battery where the car is parked and fit the new one there. You only need to give us access to the car and the keys.
Do I need to be there?
Someone needs to hand over the keys and approve the fitted price before we start. If you can't be at the car, tell us when you book and we will agree how to handle access and payment.
Can you work in a basement car park?
Yes. Our technicians carry portable testing and fitting equipment, so the car can stay in its bay. Share your location before you go underground, because mobile signal often drops there.
What happens to the old battery?
We take it away for recycling unless you ask to keep it. Car batteries contain lead and acid, and in Dubai they must go to licensed collectors, not general waste.
