Booking and arrival

How do I book a battery technician in Dubai?

Call or WhatsApp us on 056 619 2180 and share your location. Tell us your car's make, model and year, and send a photo of the battery if you can. We confirm an arrival time and a technician comes to you.

Do you come out at night and at weekends?

Yes. We are available 24/7, anywhere in Dubai.

Do I need to be with the car?

Yes. You, or another adult authorised by the owner, needs to be there with the keys so the technician can test the car and you can approve the price before any work starts.

Can you reach my car in a basement or mall car park?

Yes. Our technicians carry portable equipment and work in basements and multi-level car parks. Send the building name, parking level and bay or pillar number, and drop a location pin before you go underground, because signal often drops.

Can I cancel after booking?

Yes, free of charge, at any time before a technician is dispatched. If the technician has already set off or arrived, or cannot do the job because of access problems or incorrect details, a call-out charge may apply.

Prices and payment

How much does a car battery replacement cost in Dubai?

Everyday batteries start from around AED 175 fitted. Typical ranges are AED 175 – AED 750 for Japanese and Korean cars, AED 250 – AED 900 for American cars, AED 300 – AED 1,000 for European cars, AED 400 – AED 1,300 for AGM and start-stop batteries, and AED 500 – AED 1,600 for luxury and performance cars. You get the exact fitted price for your car before any work starts.

Do you charge for testing the battery?

No. We test the battery before recommending a replacement, and the test is free. If the battery isn't the problem, we tell you and you are under no obligation to buy anything.

How can I pay?

Payment is due when the work is finished. You can pay cash or by card on site, and flexible payment options through Tabby, Tamara and Yusr are available.

Are there hidden charges?

No. The price you approve is the price you pay. The only extra charge that can apply is a call-out charge when a technician arrives but cannot do the work, for example because the car can't be accessed.

Warranty

How long is the battery warranty?

Up to 24 months, backed by the manufacturer. The exact period depends on the battery brand and tier, and it is written in your quote before installation.

What does the warranty not cover?

Accident, misuse, fire, flood or impact damage; damage caused by another fault in the car, such as a faulty alternator or a parasitic drain; a flat battery from leaving lights or accessories on or not using the car for a long period; batteries opened or serviced by someone else; and the normal loss of capacity as a battery ages.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact us with your invoice details. We test the battery, and if it is defective within the warranty period it is repaired or replaced under the manufacturer's terms. The warranty applies to the original buyer and the car the battery was fitted to.

Batteries and your car

How long does a car battery last in Dubai?

Heat shortens battery life. AAA estimates that batteries in hot climates typically last around three years, against five or more in cool climates, and Dubai summers are hotter than most of the places those figures come from. Get the battery tested every year once it is two years old, and before summer.

Does my car need an AGM or EFB battery?

Most cars with start-stop need one of them. Replace an AGM battery with AGM. An EFB battery can be replaced with EFB, or upgraded to AGM. A conventional battery in a start-stop car wears out quickly and can cause electrical warnings. Tell us your model and we will match the right type.

Will I lose my radio presets and settings?

Disconnecting the battery can reset the clock, radio presets, seat memory and some electronic settings. We use a memory saver where possible. A few cars need a relearn step afterwards, which some models require a dealer or specialist to do.

What happens to my old battery?

We take it away for recycling unless you ask to keep it. Car batteries contain lead and sulphuric acid, and in Dubai used batteries must go to licensed collectors, never into general waste.

Is it the battery or the alternator?

A car that clicks or cranks slowly and then starts after a jump usually has a weak battery. A car that starts but dies again soon after, or shows a battery warning light while driving, may have a charging problem. We test both on site before recommending anything.

Which battery brand is best for Dubai's heat?

The right battery is the one with the correct size, type and power rating for your car. Within that, premium brands such as Bosch and Varta offer AGM and EFB options for start-stop cars, while value brands suit older cars and tighter budgets. We explain the options for your car before you choose.
