Battery notes for VinFast
- The VF 6 and VF 8 have a 12V low-voltage battery under the bonnet, which the high-voltage battery recharges. The VF 6 manual lists it as a 12V lead-acid battery.
- VinFast's manual says a car left unused for a long time can drain its 12V battery, and asks for a replacement of the same specification using VinFast-authorised parts.
- Tell us your model and year and we will confirm before booking whether the job is one we can do at your location or one for VinFast's service centre.
Tell us the model and year when you book, and send a photo of the battery label if you can. We confirm the right battery, and anything your car needs after the swap, before any work starts.
More on VinFast battery replacement. Start-stop cars need the right battery type; see AGM vs EFB batteries. Not sure it's the battery? Our free battery test checks the charging system too.

Common Questions
It depends on the model year, the engine and whether the car has start-stop. Send us the year and a photo of the current battery label, and we confirm the right size, type and fitted price before we come out.
Yes. We come to your home, office, car park or roadside anywhere in Dubai, test the battery and charging system first, and fit the new battery on the spot if it needs replacing.
Yes. On the VF 6 and VF 8 it sits under the bonnet and powers the electronics, and the high-voltage battery keeps it charged. If the car sits unused for a long time it can still run flat, and the car may not unlock or respond.
Common signs include a clicking sound when you turn the key, dim or flickering headlights, or no response at all when you try to start. But the safest way to know is to have it tested — which we do for free before recommending any replacement.
Yes. We test the battery and charging system first. If the issue isn't the battery, we'll tell you. There's no pressure to buy anything you don't need.
It depends on your car and the battery tier you choose. Everyday batteries start from around AED 175, with premium and AGM options available. We quote the full fitted price before any work begins.
Our average arrival time across Dubai is 30–45 minutes, often faster. We'll give you a realistic ETA when you send your location.
Yes. Our technicians carry portable tools and work in regular parking areas, basements, and roadside locations. Just share your exact parking spot or building name.
Make, model, and year are usually enough. If you know your engine size or battery code, even better — but don't worry if you don't. A photo of your current battery also works.
No. We can identify the correct battery from your car details or a photo. You're not expected to know the technical specs.
Manufacturing defects and premature failure under normal use. Warranty length depends on the brand and tier, and it's shown clearly in your quote before installation.
Yes. We stock AGM and EFB batteries for modern start-stop vehicles, including options from Bosch, Varta, and other major brands.
Yes. You can pay cash on completion, or by credit/debit card on site. The price you approve is the price you pay — no hidden charges.
